We recently sent out a little box with a sweet treat in to our clients as part of our 30 year birthday celebration direct mail campaign. They were very well received and we have had some lovely comments back, such as this one that was posted on LinkedIn…
“Happy Friday everyone, this little box of love arrived on my desk on Monday and has had me smiling all week. Thank you Steve Wilson from Wilson Design Associates for sharing the love this week and whilst I know I'm not the only customer you made feel special with this gift , deep down I know I really am your favourite. lol” 😆.
It wasn't a hugely expensive piece of marketing and we were not ‘selling’ anything or asking our clients to do anything in particular – except perhaps leave a Google review if they felt inclined – but work came out of it anyway as people started to think how they could do something like this in their business!
So what can you do to make your clients feel special and loved? Remember… it's not your customers' job to remember to do business with you… it's your job to remind them!
